What we do
As a Registered Building Control Approver with 3G & 3H rated Building Inspectors, MC Plan & Site Services can assist you on all types of Commercial and Non-Residential premises, regardless of type, size or cost of works. We aim to provide a consistent, stress-free, professional, and client-focused approach to the Building Control service by appointing designated points of contact for both the inspections and administration elements of the service. We have found that the earlier we are involved, the smoother and more efficient the project will be.
We can identify potential issues with the Building Regulations and make you and your Design Team aware at an earlier stage, avoiding a drawn-out plan assessment process. We have established strong relationships with Fire Brigades with whom we work alongside, ensuring the necessary consultations are completed in a timely manner. Contact our New Business team to discuss your upcoming projects, who will be happy to accommodate and arrange a pre-application meeting if required.

Plan assessments

Further information may be required by the Building Inspector as part of the plan assessment, which we will make you aware of.
Depending on the type of project you are undertaking, we may need to consult with the Fire Brigade, the Sewerage Undertaker or other relevant professionals. Our team of highly trained and qualified Building Inspectors identify this from an early stage and will automatically undertake consultations as part of the plan assessment process.
Site inspections
Your Building Inspector may identify a contravention on site. This could be something simple, such as more work needing to be done to a particular area, or something more complex that requires input from other professionals. Regardless of the complexity, your Building Inspector will ensure that you are aware of the contravention and the information required to resolve it.
Specialist advice
We can attend design/pre-application meetings to ensure early compliance with the Building Regulations, which in most cases results in an overall cost-saving for the project.
Completion of work
Once you have confirmed that the works on site are complete, our Building Inspector will attend site for the completion inspection to ensure the project complies with the Building Regulations. During this inspection, they will make you aware of any further information that is required, such as commissioning certificates or further photographs, to confirm compliance with the Building Regulations.
Once all information has been received and assessed by the Building Inspector, the Business Support team will issue your Building Control certificate within 24 hours.
