Important changes coming in April 2024 

For the last six months of the year MC Plan & Site Services Ltd have been fully engaged in the preparations required to meet the new building control regulatory body now known as the HSE/BSR. As a company, we have also been fully engaged in the Building Control Approver registration process that is imminently coming to a conclusion. Since 1st of October 2023, High Rise and High Risk buildings are now subject to direct application submissions to the new regulator and as of 6th April 2024 all building control bodies including all Local Auathorities must have registered Building Control Inspectors.  

In order to achieve this status and meet the requirements of the HSE/BSR, as a company, we've been heavily engaged in the process with our building inspectors and can report a really positive outcome that will be officially announced in the new year.  

Mark Cook, Managing Director or MC Plan & Site Services, has actively presented at seminars throughout this year, discussing the important changes and what it means for the industry. Educating many companies and individuals. 

As a result of the high demand to inform and educate, MC Plan & Site Services will be holding our own seminars in the New Year at our head office based in Poole. 

Mark Cook said "I feel that it's important for the industry that these changes are made known to everybody and that professionals/companies are made fully aware. 2024 will see a massive change for everybody within building control. Spaces will be very limited as we've seen a huge interest in this particular subject and as a company we're looking forward to the New Year and the huge announcement that we have.
